As a note, on the Modern Day Jewish Calendar (if they followed the Biblical directions, which they NOW don’t), this year the 8th Day of Passover will fall on April 19 (Saturday), and the “Feast of Firstfruits” should fall on April 20 (Sunday, since the Passover fell on a Sabbath/Saturday this year) …
This year for most Christians, Resurrection Day (with Jesus Christ as the “Firstfruits” of the Resurrection) will also fall on April 20 (Sunday), which will Biblically start on the Evening of April 19 (Saturday).
The early Church always referred to this Holy Week as the “Passover Feast” …
And, the early Church never called it “Easter.”

The Checklist:
God instructed the ancient Jewish Prophets to provide many prophetic details concerning the Messiah in the Jewish Tanakh (sometimes called the “Old Testament”).
So, these following prophecies of the Messiah (translated “Christ” in English) from the ancient Hebrew Scriptures were being copied, read, and distributed to synagogues around the world hundreds of years before Jesus of Bethlehem/Nazareth was even born!
The ancient Bible warns there is only ONE Messiah.
Anybody claiming to be the Messiah (Christ) will have to …
– Be born in Bethlehem (Israel) (Micah 5:2)
– Claim a virgin birth by a direct descendant of King David (Isaiah 7:14)
– Ride triumphantly into Jerusalem on a donkey as a King (Zechariah 9:9)
– Be betrayed by a close friend (Psalm 41.9)
– Have a price of 30 pieces of silver placed upon Him (Zechariah:11:12-13)
– Have the 30 pieces of silver thrown into a potter’s field (Zechariah:11:12-13)
– Be rejected by Israel and despised by many (Isaiah 49:7)
– Be brutally beaten and scourged with a whip (Isaiah 53:5-7)
– Remain silent during His trial and ordeal (Isaiah 53:7)
– Be Crucified (nails driven through His hands and feet) (Psalm 22:14, 15, 16, 17)
– Be mocked during His time of suffering and death (Psalm 22:7-8)
– Have lots cast for His clothes (Psalm 22:18)
– Have His side pierced (Zechariah 12:10)
– Have the Sun darkened at noon on the day of His death (Amos 8:9, 10)
– Be buried in a rich man’s grave (Isaiah 53:9)
– Be resurrected before decomposition starts (within 4 days) (Psalm 16:10)
What ARE the odds of just one Man fulfilling these ancient Jewish Prophecies?
To put things into perspective, let’s say there could be a probability that 1 man in every 100 born could claim to have fulfilled at least one of these prophecies of the Messiah.
However, the mathematical probability of one man fulfilling ALL of these 16 prophecies (there are many more prophecies of His first coming) which were in writing hundreds of years BEFORE Jesus Christ was ever born) would be:
1/10016 = Only one in every 100,000,000,000,000,000
This probability exceeds the estimates of the total number of people ever born during all of Mankind’s history!!!.
Then, as you study the Bible, you will find Jesus fulfilled over 100 ancient Jewish prophecies!!! (Too many zeroes for here).
The Scriptures tell us there are TWO roles Messiah must fulfill:
– First: As the Sacrificial “Lamb of God” who suffered and bore the punishment for all our sins on the Cross, and whose Resurrection opened the way to everlasting life in Heaven.
– Second: As the “Lion of the tribe of Judah” who will return to save Israel from the armies of the world (Armageddon). He will then fully restore the Earth and rule over all nations … in peace.
Jesus then revealed a NEW prophecy that Jerusalem and the Temple would be destroyed … (fulfilled by the Romans in 70 AD)
Right after the “Triumphal Entry,” Jesus WEPT over Jerusalem, knowing the children of Israel would ignore this prophecy (and all the other prophecies of Messiah) which were so specific that God held them accountable! This is why the Temple was destroyed and the Jewish people were dispersed and scattered around the world …
Jesus issued this prophecy and THEN warned Israel WHY it would happen …
“Now as He (Jesus) drew near,
He saw the city (Jerusalem)
and WEPT over it, saying,
‘IF YOU HAD KNOWN,
even you (the children of Israel),
especially in this your day,
(the day Messiah was revealed)
the things that make for your peace!
But now they are hidden from your eyes.
For days will come upon you
when your enemies will build
an embankment around you,
surround you and close you in
on every side, and level you,
and your children within you,
to the ground; and they will
not leave in you (the Temple)
one stone upon another,
BECAUSE you did not know
the time of your visitation.’”

God held them accountable for NOT knowing these prophecies!
Thus, within that generation, in 70 A.D., 38 years AFTER Jesus spoke this prophecy and was Crucified (“cut-off”), Jerusalem was besieged and brutally destroyed when Titus Vespasian, with the Fifth, Tenth, Twelfth, and Fifteenth Roman Legions did build a Roman siege wall (“embankment”) around the city, starving and slaughtering over a million Jews, and then tore down the Temple, stone by stone, to retrieve the gold that had melted when Roman soldiers (against orders) set the Temple on fire, thus leaving not one stone upon the other … exactly as Jesus Christ prophesied!
NOW LOOK AT TODAY’S GENERATION …
Just as Christians (and reverends, priests, ministers, and pastors) today will be held just as accountable for ignoring, rejecting, and refusing to learn (or teach) the MANY Bible Prophecies (warnings) that are now being fulfilled today preparing for His Return … in THIS GENERATION!!!
The Scriptures tell us the Messiah will return … TWICE:
– First: “As a thief in the night” FOR all believers
– Second: “Every eye shall see” WITH all believers

– Hatred and Violence against Bible-Believing Christians increasing
– Troubles for Israel (both “external” and “internal”) increasing
– Israel claiming their rightful inheritance in Gaza, Judea, and Samaria increasing
– Nations of the World loudly opposing Israel’s right to Her Land increasing
– Calls for a “Peace Plan” for Israel increasing
– Iran, Russia, and allies preparations for War against Israel increasing
– Turkey’s rise in Power and belligerence towards Israel increasing
– China’s rise in military Power increasing
– Push for a One-World Economy & Government increasing
– Number of Protestant Churches no longer teaching “sound doctrine” increasing
– Efforts by 10 Nations of the Roman Empire to form an Alliance increasing
– Power of the Roman Church and a “Holy Roman Empire” (NATO, Europe?) increasing
(For the Bible warns Rome and the Roman Church will one-day Rule over the World)
– TURMOIL IN AMERICA INCREASING (Israel must stand alone … with God!!!)
What Does This Mean For The World?
Since all of those things listed above ARE prophetic “warning signs” (most of which we now see rising), and, if the current prophetic forecast (based on Bible Prophecy) estimating the coming “Apocalypse” will engulf the world sometime around 2030 – 2037 is correct, it means God is warning ALL Mankind the “Time of the End” (the coming “Apocalypse”) now draws near.
This also means that significant global events such as the Iran-Russia-Turkey War against Israel, and America being “neutralized” (unwilling or unable to help defend Israel) will most likely happen sometime before 2030 for the coming Antichrist to rise …
Which ALSO means that the prophetic event which is sometimes called “The Rapture” must take place sometime even sooner …
“When you SEE these things,

AT THE DOOR!!”

Yet, the Bible warns people around the World will just yawn, scoff at, and ignore these prophetic warnings of the coming global catastrophe sometimes called the “Apocalypse.”

Followers of Christ, are to be a separate people – a people of honor, strength, and courage. To obey Him, we must take the heart of a servant and be meek, humble, patient, kind, willing to forgive, willing to help and serve others, even our enemies. This requires much strength. This is strength. We must pray for His strength.
If there was ANY other way into Heaven …
Jesus knew what was about to happen when He prayed, “If there is any other way” three times in the garden the night before He was crucified. If there was, or is, any other way to gain entrance into Heaven other than believing in the One who paid our debt, then Jesus suffered and died needlessly and in vain, on the Cross. He lovingly laid down His life for you and for me.

In Daniel 9:24, the Bible tells us Messiah would be revealed 69 (7 + 62) weeks of years after a command would be given to rebuild Jerusalem AND its Wall.
This Bible Prophecy also says Messiah would be revealed before being executed and before the Jewish Temple would be destroyed.
It appears this prophecy was fulfilled on the day which Christians call “Palm Sunday” when Jesus rode into Jerusalem riding on a donkey (also as the ancient Jewish prophets predicted He would).

The Bible says that all who believe Jesus Christ died for their sins, was buried, and raised from the dead, and receive Him as their Lord and Savior (who saves us from Hell) are “born again,” and are then indwelt by the Holy Spirit. According to the Bible, you cannot separate the Holy Spirit from the believing Christian. This is God’s promise.
So, in order to remove “He who now restrains” (the Holy Spirit), God must also remove the body of believers who are alive at that time. This is why many believe the man some call the Antichrist cannot be revealed until after the Rapture.

Here, God clearly warns all those who simply “approve of” these things will be held just as accountable as those who actually do them. This is God’s Word and Law in the Bible. We have all been given a free will to either accept it or reject God’s Word. It’s our choice.
We find in the Bible this also applies to churches and church leaders as well when we read those Bible prophecies which reveal many churches will “fall away” from God’s Word and “will depart from the faith” and “will no longer endure sound doctrine” around the time of the Apocalypse (1 Timothy 4:1-3, 2 Timothy 4:3-5, Jude 1:3-6).
Taken from both the Old and New Testaments, these verses have been given because they represent a portion of God’s Law as found in the Bible.
The verses we have just read also reveal God’s Law is not ambiguous concerning homosexuality. We soon discover that Homosexuality is nothing new.
At the time the Apostle Paul wrote the verses above homosexuality was rampant throughout the ancient Roman Empire. Roman Emperor Nero once married a man who was dressed as the bride, and on another occasion, Emperor Nero dressed as the bride as he married another man.
However, the generation alive today is the first generation since the fall of the ancient Roman Empire to embrace and promote homosexuality in such an overt manner.
