[Strong warnings. God’s key word in these verses is “profane.”]
Let’s now look in the Bible at two activities that God Himself LINKS to profaning His Holy Name …
“And you shall not let any of your descendants (children)

The book of Daniel warns God has set aside one final “week of years” (a 7 Year Period) of final testing and terrible judgment for Israel (and the whole world … the book of Revelation provides the details of what will take place during this coming final 7 years of this Age on Earth) … Prophecy: The coming Apocalypse & Armageddon
When we see Homosexual “Pride” parades marching through Jerusalem and Tel Aviv … and 20,000 Abortions (“shedding innocent blood”) a year being performed in the tiny nation of Israel … and the children of Israel in the Dispersion around the world loudly DEFENDING Baal/Molech (the ‘gods’ of Abortion and Homosexuality), as we are now seeing in the United States … we KNOW the time draws near!!!
However, God also promises one day the Messiah of Israel will return (Prophecies of Jesus Christ) … (Prophecies of Messiah’s Return) to rule over Israel AND over the whole World.
Israel will then rise as the leader of all nations on Earth as Yeshua Ha’Mashiach (Jesus Christ in English) will then fully restore Israel and the whole Earth in peace and beauty not seen since the Garden of Eden. (The 1000 Year Millennium) (A New Heaven and a New Earth)
Every curse and every blessing (and every prophecy) found in the Bible concerning the Nation and People of Israel will ALL soon be fulfilled.
And we (all Gentiles/non-Jews) are also taught (commanded) to “Bless Israel” … and to provide a safe sanctuary for all the Children of Israel wherever they might be found.
For Israel is God’s Chosen and the Lord Himself will handle their discipline as He has clearly warned them time and time again through His Prophets (such as Ezekiel above) …

This prophecy could be somewhat analogous to a monstrous tidal wave. If we’re standing on a beach and see the water rapidly start to recede from the shore we know it signifies a tidal wave is rapidly approaching which will at some point devastate and destroy everything in its path.
In our scenario, the receding water represents the teaching (and hearing) of God’s Word, the shore represents our churches and synagogues, and the Tidal Wave represents the coming Apocalypse which will one day devastate and destroy almost every living thing on planet Earth. The coming Apocalypse is the fierce and terrible “Day of the Lord” which prophet after prophet has cried out and warned us to watch for and to escape from by drawing near to God who will lovingly hide and shelter all who will draw near to Him before “that Day.”
