I will bring you against My Land,   (God tells us Israel is His Land which He gave to Israel)
that the nations may know Me,
when through you, O Gog,
I vindicate My Holiness before their eyes.”   (When God Himself will intervene)

chief prince of Meshech and Tubal.
And I will turn you about and drive you forward,
and bring you up from
THE UTTERMOST PARTS OF THE NORTH,

IN BIBLE PROPHECY we find “Gomer” listed as one of the nations who will join the Russia-Iran led attack and invasion against Israel in Ezekiel 38. If you do a study of ancient Gomer you will find it was in the area which is now Germany and France.

With today’s weapons, it could last only 12 minutes, or another interpretation using the 1000 Years = 1 Day formula then the “12 minutes” could equal a little over 8 years.

The World will have to wait and see (for there is a good chance the believing Church will be gone sometime before God intervenes in this coming War).  Prophecy: Rapture

This coming War will be ferocious, and it will change the World forever!  (Russia, Iran, Turkey and their allies will be destroyed by God, and the US will be neutralized somehow beforehand).

As a note, this same Rabbi, Vilna Gaon (1720-1797 AD), also prophesied the following about the coming Gog-Magog War …

“When you hear that the Russians have captured the city of Crimea, the ‘Times of the Messiah’ have started, that his steps are being heard”

Then consider this recent news fact …

“The Crimean Peninsula, north of the Black Sea in Europe, was annexed by the Russian Federation (forces) between February and March 2014 and since then has been administered as two Russian federal subjects—the Republic of Crimea and the federal city of Sevastopol”

This would mean (if his prophecy was God given) the first 6 years (quiet years) of the roughly 8 years of the Gog-Magog war have already taken place.
